How to Install and Use Native Instruments Battery 3 Library DVD 1 Of 2 ISO

Native Instruments Battery 3 is a powerful drum sampler software that offers a wide range of sounds and features for music production. However, if you have purchased Battery 3 before it was discontinued in 2013, you may have trouble finding the installer and the library files online. In this article, we will show you how to download, install and use Native Instruments Battery 3 Library DVD 1 Of 2 ISO on your computer.

Downloading the Battery 3 Installer and Library

The first step is to download the Battery 3 installer and the library disk images from the official Native Instruments website. Here are the download links for the Battery 3 disk images:

BATTERY 3 - Disk Image 1

BATTERY 3 - Disk Image 2

After downloading the disk images, you will need to mount them on your computer. If you are using Windows, you can follow the instructions here to mount an ISO disk image. If you are using Mac OS X, you can simply double-click the disk image files to mount them.

Once you have mounted the disk images, you can run the installer from Disk Image 1 and follow the on-screen instructions to install Battery 3 on your computer. You will need to select the location of Disk Image 2 when prompted to install the library files.

Updating and Activating Battery 3

After installing Battery 3, you will need to update it to the latest version (3.2.3) and activate it with your serial number. You can download the update installer from these links:

BATTERY 3.2.3 - Mac

BATTERY 3.2.3 - Windows

After running the update installer, you can open Native Access and log in with your Native Instruments account. This will activate Battery 3 automatically with your serial number.

Accessing and Using Battery 3 Library

To access and use the Battery 3 library within Battery 4, you will need to use the Files Browser in Battery 4. The Files Browser allows you to search your computer's file structure for samples and kits. To load content from the Battery 3 library in Battery 4, follow these steps:

From within the Files tab, click the "Up" button (an upwards pointing arrow symbol) within the Navigation bar to navigate to the Battery 3 library folder on your system.

To gain quick access to your Battery 3 library for future use, simply add its location to the Favorites bar by right-clicking the folder in the Selection/Results window, and selecting the Add to Favorites entry.

To load a kit, either double-click the file name (eg. Best of Krypt.kt3) or drag it to the main working area in Battery 4. The Battery 3 kit is now loaded in Battery 4.

You can now enjoy using the sounds and features of Battery 3 in your music production.
